Grading
We'll base your grades on class attendance/participation (25%) and an open-book, take-home exam. The exam will consist of three questions:
Appointing Justices
Selecting Cases
Deciding Cases
We'll ask you to select one question and respond with an answer no longer than 5 pages (including references), double spaced with 1-inch margins, using 12-point Times New Roman font. You will receive the exam on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 9 am (via Exam4). You must complete and return the exam by Tuesday, November 19, 2024 by 5 pm.
If these rules present problems, please contact Prof. Epstein at least one week prior to distribution of the exam. Otherwise, we will not read or give credit to an exam that violates these rules.
