The Modern U.S. Supreme Court

Co-taught by Prof. Lee Epstein and Mr. Adam Liptak (Chief Legal Affairs Correspondent of the New York Times), this course examines the modern U.S. Supreme Court. Topics include the Court's membership; its procedures for selecting cases for review; the role of lawyers, law clerks, and journalists; and doctrinal developments in several areas of the law.
